sQuid online payments

sQuid is a convenient and secure way for you to pay for your child’s catering, school trips, clubs and other offers online. Please note that you can no longer purchase dinner tickets.

Helping our school go cashless

Reducing the amount of cash we have to handle at school is a real benefit to us as it eliminates having to count and bank cash, which is extremely costly. It also benefits the pupils as they will spend less time queuing and more time playing, and no longer have to carry cash to school with the risk of it getting lost or stolen.

You will be sent a letter with your child’s sQuid registration details

This is a 16 digit registration number and 3 digit security code that you should register on the sQuid website. If you have more than one child at the school, they will each be issued with their own registration number. Simply follow the instructions set out in the letter to create your online sQuid account and register your child.

Once you have created a sQuid account for your child, you will also be able to manage their account online at any time to:

  • Top up their account from your bank account, credit or debit card
  • Enable Auto top up so that they never run out of funds
  • Check their account balance
  • View their transactions

Please be aware, if your child’s sQuid account does not have any credit, the school will not be able to provide a school lunch. We will contact parents and you will be required to top up your child’s account by 10am or provide a lunch for your child on that day.

Healthy Eating

At Parklands Primary School we are committed to developing and encouraging healthy eating for every child. As part of the National School Fruit Scheme all children in nursery, reception, year 1 and year 2 are provided with free fruit every day.

The last Friday of every month is “Key Stage 2 Free Fruit Friday” – to promote healthy eating the school provides a piece of fruit for every child in years 3, 4, 5 and 6.

Please note that pupils are not permitted to consume sweets at school at any time.
