Parent Workshops
Parent View
Parents and carers can give their views on our school at any time of the school year and at the time of a school inspection, using an online questionnaire called Parent View. When our school is notified of its next Ofsted inspection, parents will be invited to give their views about the school to inspectors using the Parent View online facility.
Please register with an email address and a password by clicking the icon below. Once your login has been activated, it only takes a few minutes to complete answers to 12 short questions about aspects such as bullying, the quality of teaching, level of homework, etc.
Your views are important in helping inspectors make a decision about our school, and to help us know what is going well and what could be improved.
Cost of living support
Havering recognises that as the cost of living continues to rise across the country, their residents are going to be feeling the pinch this winter.
The Council have created a one-stop-shop for all of the support that may be out there for residents this winter and beyond, all in one handy place on their website – Financial help and advice section.
The website contains links to the Havering Helps assistance scheme, council tax support, debt management services, energy grants, food banks and community hubs, as well as online benefits calculators so residents can be sure they’re receiving all the support they are entitled to.
The Council will also publish details of any new support schemes, both local and national, in the Living in Havering email bulletin.
Warm Spaces
Havering Council is working alongside voluntary, community and local organisations, and businesses to set up a network of Warm Spaces across the borough this winter.
These include libraries, leisure centres, community centres, community hubs and other places. They will offer residents a warm welcome and will be free to use for anyone struggling to heat their home over the coming months.
Some venues will also offer hot drinks, activities, and other services such as free Wi-Fi. Warm Spaces will be heated, safe and friendly places where residents can comfortably spend time reading, studying or chatting with others.
The Council is also working with local NHS and voluntary and community partners to set up further Warm Spaces in areas highlighted as the most vulnerable to the cost of living crisis. These additional spaces will respond directly to the needs of the local community, delivering joint services. This could include money advice and energy tips along with COVID boosters and Flu vaccines and other health services.
The launch of Warm Spaces comes alongside the Council’s new cost of living online hub which brings together all of the support available to residents – from financial help with food and energy bills to free school holiday meals and mental health advice.
